Awarded to the contestant having the highest official score in either the 2-Meter Event or the Unlimited Class Event Sailplane Competition at the Nationals.
The winner will receive a distinctive award and have their name engraved on the Perpetual Trophy, which is on permanent display in the National Center for Aeromodeling located near Muncie, Indiana.
Note: We do not fly the Standard Event #443 at the R/C Soaring Nationals any more, so this award is based on the 2-Meter Event #442 and the Unlimited Event #444 for our purpose.
