The Dan Pruss Memorial Team Award is awarded each year at the Soaring Nationals Awards Banquet.

Awarded to a three person team from the same AMA chartered club flying in both the 2-Meter Event #442 and the Unlimited Event #444.

It is based on the final placing, in each event, for the team members.

For example, a team with a placing of 1st, 10th, and 28th would get a score of 39 points; while a team with a placing of 7th, 8th ands 15th would have a score of 30 points and would be the considered the winning team. " Low Score Wins. "

Teams Must declare their entry to the Event Director or his/her representative prior to the first round of the first event of the events involved.

The Award consist of a plaque for each team member, and their names on a Perpetual Trophy which is on display in the National Center for Aeromodeling located near Muncie, Indiana.
