"Le Gray Award" 2003 "For Outstanding Service to Soaring"
The Le Gray award is awarded each year at the Soaring Nationals Awards Banquet. Rules for who earns it: Cannot be current LSF board member. In the opinion of the current LSF Board, has provided "Outstanding Service to Soaring". The award may not be made posthumously. Any LSF member can nominate someone.

This award was created, in 1996, by the LSF Board of directors, in memory of Le Gray the founder of the League of Silent Flight. It is to be a lifetime Achievment award. Members of the LSF may nominate canidates to the LSF Board of Directors who have the final decision on the recipient.
