Sunday July 14 at a little after 4:00 pm Johnny Berlin (RC Butch to many folks) landed his 14 yr ols Sailaire on the beach below Elberta Bluff at just over 8 hrs and 1 min....

This was the final task for Johnny and he is now LSF V.. Well earned this was a rare day in western Mi. with straight on winds all day..

Johnny's support crew were Ted Groesser (witness), Harry DeBoer (witness) and good friend Sanford Searle.. My wife Sue & I made the treck from cadillac up to Elberta to watch the last couple hours and fly some slope trash to break the monotany..

Congrats to Johnny for making the LSF journey complete..
